Heading to Ft. Wainwright to go tubing. The tubing part of Birch Hill. The ride to the top of the hill. That's hubby coming up to the top of the hill behind me.
No more pony tail! I love my new hair cut :-) We finally got to meet our friends, the Dalton's, baby boy. Brenden is so cute and has a full head of hair. He's almost 1 month old!
William had a 4-day weekend and Saturday night he had a "surprise date" planned. He had reservations at our favorite restaurant, "The Turtle Club." Afterwards, we rented some movies from Blockbuster and watched "Duplex." He's such a great husband, I love him! This is after dinner...we were so full! We both had the salad bar, best prime rib ever, a baked potato, coke, and shared a piece of Oreo cheesecake, yum!
For New Year's Eve we went over to one of my high school friends and her husbands house in North Pole. They have a son named Adam too. Yes, it's a small world. We met in Sebring, FL and now we are neighbors in Alaska. We live about 20 min. away from each other. Who would have ever thought? Aaron and Amanda playing Boogie something on the Wii. Amanda and William dancing. Amanda and me. Amanda, Adam, and me.
My present from William. I got a happy light, ha! It's supposed to help with seasonal affective disorder when there's not much sunlight outside. Look, I'm happy :-) LOL, it's definitely bright! One of the best gifts ever and we both love it! Skookies are yummy and now we can make them at home!
William with his stocking from me. It wouldn't all fit in the stocking so I had to put everything else in a plastic bag, lol! William with all of his stocking stuffers. Me with my stocking from William. I was laughing because William was laughing at me as I was holding the knife upside down, oh my. I ended up exchanging this knife for a Spyderco because I couldn't open it 1-handed.
