Happy Birthday Hubby!

Today is William's 23rd birthday. This is the first time in 3 years we have actually been able to celebrate it on the actual day. He is being spoiled today...I made him a nice breakfast, gave him a massage, a pedicure, we have reservations at the Turtle Club in Fox for dinner (compliments of Nick, Kristy, and Palmer), and then we are going to see "Avatar" in 3-D at the theater.

Since his feet get tired of wearing boots every day I decided to get him a bubbling foot bath. I figured I could use it too, ha!

Of course he liked popping the plastic bubbles as much as the actual gift.

He's been wanting "Lost," Season 5.

Yes, guys like AND need pedicures!

The Turtle Club in Fox, AK. The last time we had dinner here was almost 2 years ago when William proposed. We forgot how good it was!

We happened to get the table near the Christmas tree :-) It was so nice! William had prime rib and rice pilaf and Natalie had fried prawns and rice pilaf. We had fried zucchini for an appetizer along with a great salad bar. Thanks Nick, Kristy, and Palmer for such a great meal!

It was a good thing "Avatar" was sold out tonight. We decided to go home and instead watch "Christmas with the Kranks." At 8:30 the UPS man came with a present from Natalie's mom for William. It happened to be 2 pizzas from Giordano's in Chicago. They have the best pizza! We were both smiling from ear to ear before he even opened it. Good thing the freezer wasn't full :-)

William got a pepperoni and a cheese pizza, yum! I'm sure we will be eating them very soon, thanks mom!
The following are pictures that were taken on Sunday, Dec. 20th. We celebrated William's birthday a little early while Natalie's dad was in town.

I made our favorite dinner from the Ivy House Restaurant in Alachua, FL. I made baked crispy chicken, mac and cheese, corny cornbread, sauteed squash, spinach souffle (compliments of Stouffer's, lol), and raspberry tea. William's birthday cake was a midnight chocolate cake.

Dad made the fudge sauce for William's cake.

A slice of William's very delicious birthday cake.

Playing Guitar Hero

William concentrating on the game. This is what we do when we are bored and there is nothing in town to do.

Larry the Cable Guy Came to Town

Last night William and I went to see Larry the Cable Guy. We had a blast! If we look tired it's because we were. William worked late and I was already in bed asleep when he got home. We weren't expecting to be able to make it but William got off early and we flew out the door.

This is comedian, Josh Wolf. He was the opening act.

Our Nephew, Palmer Alexander Crowe

Our nephew, Palmer Alexander was born on Nov. 21st, 2009. He weighed 7 lbs., 13 oz. and was 20 1/2" long and 1 1/2 weeks early. We can't wait to get to FL to meet him! Don't know when that will be though :-(

This is Palmer's bedroom. This was Nick and Kristy's office that connects directly to their bedroom. They did a great job of converting it into a nursery!

Palmer all bundled up and ready to go home for the first time!

Welcome!

We love having company so anyone is welcome anytime! We had a blast when mom was here and are looking forward to dad's visit in under 2 weeks!

Happy Thanksgiving!

For Thanksgiving we went over to our friend's, the Dalton's. We took green beans and macaroni and cheese. They had about 6 single soldiers over and all of the guys played video games in the basement while Natalie and Tanya were upstairs socializing/cooking/eating/watching TV. It was a great night and almost went into the morning!

Pictures of William

William had a new DA (Dept. of the Army) photo taken on Nov. 24th. While he was all dressed up I took pictures of him in front of our Christmas tree before he left for work. He's so handsome! I love him!
