Today is William's 23rd birthday. This is the first time in 3 years we have actually been able to celebrate it on the actual day. He is being spoiled today...I made him a nice breakfast, gave him a massage, a pedicure, we have reservations at the Turtle Club in Fox for dinner (compliments of Nick, Kristy, and Palmer), and then we are going to see "Avatar" in 3-D at the theater.
Since his feet get tired of wearing boots every day I decided to get him a bubbling foot bath. I figured I could use it too, ha!
Of course he liked popping the plastic bubbles as much as the actual gift.
He's been wanting "Lost," Season 5.
Yes, guys like AND need pedicures!
The Turtle Club in Fox, AK. The last time we had dinner here was almost 2 years ago when William proposed. We forgot how good it was!
We happened to get the table near the Christmas tree :-) It was so nice! William had prime rib and rice pilaf and Natalie had fried prawns and rice pilaf. We had fried zucchini for an appetizer along with a great salad bar. Thanks Nick, Kristy, and Palmer for such a great meal!
It was a good thing "Avatar" was sold out tonight. We decided to go home and instead watch "Christmas with the Kranks." At 8:30 the UPS man came with a present from Natalie's mom for William. It happened to be 2 pizzas from Giordano's in Chicago. They have the best pizza! We were both smiling from ear to ear before he even opened it. Good thing the freezer wasn't full :-)
William got a pepperoni and a cheese pizza, yum! I'm sure we will be eating them very soon, thanks mom!
I made our favorite dinner from the Ivy House Restaurant in Alachua, FL. I made baked crispy chicken, mac and cheese, corny cornbread, sauteed squash, spinach souffle (compliments of Stouffer's, lol), and raspberry tea. William's birthday cake was a midnight chocolate cake.
Dad made the fudge sauce for William's cake.
A slice of William's very delicious birthday cake.
William with his present from dad.
Dad gave William the game "Avatar" for his Xbox.
